Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Biomedical Science, you'll be positioned for diverse opportunities in the job market with advanced practical skills in music combined with a strong background in communication and research, opening opportunities to work in a wide range of industries, including the international arts scene and medical sciences, fields such as the Analytical and Scientific Services industry, Biotechnology sector, Research sector, Scientific Supply sector, pharmaceutical industry, diagnostics or public health & safety. Graduates may work as: Arts and culture administrator, Biomedical scientist, Laboratory technician, Composer, Health researcher, Music publisher, Musician/Artist, Science writer, Graduate Research Assistant. *Postgraduate study may be required.

You can combine the Bachelor of Music with one of the following Bachelor of Biomedical Science majors: Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, Anatomy and Human Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Exercise and Health, Genetics, Humanities in Health and Medicine, Microbiology and Immunology, Neuroscience, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Public Health.
You'll be asked to prepare two contrasting pieces during your audition. UWA provides frequently asked questions on the audition process, and you can book your audition through their website.
In the Bachelor of Music, you'll acquire advanced practical skills in music, specialising in performance, composition, studio teaching or musicology, deepen your understanding of music, collaborate with experts and visiting artists, and develop essential communication and critical thinking skills. In the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, you'll gain comprehensive knowledge and skills to impact health and healthcare, understand the workings of the human body in various states, and explore research skills and diagnostic treatment methods.
Prerequisites presenting with IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 7.5 and no band less than 7.0.
