• Selection of applicnts will be made on the basis of their Admission application and performance in:
• the Admission Application (written assessment)
• the Audition (performance)
• the Interview (oral assessment) All candidates must complete all of the below requirements to be eligible to be considered for entry to the Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts/ Bachelor of Arts:

• Complete and submit your online Audition Application.
• Audition and Interview (details in the Additional Selection Criteria section below). Applicants must meet one of the criteria below to meet the Admission Application requirement (step 1 above):
• Completed Year 12 studies - NSW HSC or equivalent qualification (there is no minimum Selection Rank requirement); or
• Completed, or partly completed, higher education studies (0.25FTE completed or greater); or TAFE/VET qualification, with a minimum of a completed Certificate II (AQF level 2); or
• Completed recognised enabling program; or
• Overseas qualifications equivalent to Australian studies (International); or

Additional requirements

• An audition and interview are required as part of the application process. In the Audition Application process, you will be formally assessed on your written communication skills. You should also provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae listing any musical or artistic achievements, and any industry experiences (including paid and unpaid activities or work experience).
• Depending on your chosen major you will either perform (on an instrument or vocally) or present a portfolio of material (such as audio recordings, musical scores, music research, etc.) demonstrating your interest and experience in the areas you have chosen.
• All auditions involve an interview where you are able to discuss your musical and academic achievements and present your aspirations for the future. During the interview, you will be formally assessed on your verbal communication skills.
