Common Questions
The indicative total course fee for domestic students is $75,600, and for international students it is $78,480. Fees are indicative only and are subject to change. FEE-HELP is available for eligible domestic students.
Domestic students can complete the degree in 6 study periods (2 years full-time) or 9 study periods (3 years part-time equivalent). International students must complete the course over 9 study periods (3 years) full-time.
The course is offered at both the Melbourne and Sydney campuses. Start dates vary by campus: February, May, and September intakes are available in Sydney, while Melbourne offers February and September intakes.
Applicants must prepare two items: an analytical essay about music or the music business (topics may include a music artist, composer, or musical), and one of the following — a live music performance, a recorded video or audio performance, a recorded original composition including a credit list, a pdf or handwritten score of an original composition or arrangement, or an original audio mix of a musical work including a credit list.
