Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, you will be eligible for accreditation by Dietitians Australia. The degree is also recognised in Singapore, the UK, New Zealand, and Canada.
In your third and fourth years, you will get hands-on experience with placement opportunities. Your fourth year includes a variety of placements covering individual case management, community/public health, and food service management.
Yes, the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) is a one-year full-time embedded program taking place in your final placement year. The Honours program provides more comprehensive research training to complement the professional skills and competencies achieved during professional practice placements, and allows you to develop research and communication skills, expand your career options, and provides a more accessible pathway to postgraduate research.
Domestic students require a Guaranteed Entry ATAR of 90.00. Alternative entry options are available via STAT, GPA, or pathway programs including Human Nutrition, Health Sciences, or a Diploma in Health Sciences. There are no prerequisites or assumed knowledge required.
For 2026, the annual indicative fees are $11,503 for Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) students and $46,000 for Full Fee Paying (FFP) students.
