Students are required to complete a minimum of 1000 hours of professional practice throughout the course. If studying full-time: in Year 2 you'll undertake up to 10 days of fieldwork visits; in Year 3 you'll complete 400 hours (12 weeks) of placement; in Year 4 you'll complete another 400 hours (12 weeks) of placement plus a 150-hour community placement in your final term.

No, deferral of offer is not permitted for this course. If you are unable to commence in the term you receive an offer, you will be required to submit a new admission application or change your preference with the Tertiary Admission Centre to commence at a later date.
The indicative first-year fee for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) is $10,518 (2026 indicative). This is the approximate cost of enrolling for one full-time academic year (eight units over two terms) and should be used as a guide only, as actual fees may vary depending on the units you select and your study load.
The course is available on campus at Bundaberg and Rockhampton. Students benefit from real-world learning facilities including the purpose-built Allied Health Clinic at CQUniversity Rockhampton, as well as a minimum of 1000 hours of placement in real-world settings across a range of practice areas.
