The program has an embedded 1000 hours of practical, professional work experience. This will be undertaken across a range of settings and is carefully selected by the dedicated practicum team within the School of Health Sciences, primarily in years three and four.
Yes. The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) degree is accredited by the Occupational Therapy Council of Australia for the current stage of development, and is also an approved program of study for the purposes of registration as an occupational therapist in Australia by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (Ahpra).
The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) is offered at both the Fremantle and Sydney campuses. Delivery on the Fremantle Campus has been approved from Semester 1 2025.
This is an embedded Honours program for all students with Industry or Research streams available. Further information can be found by contacting the School of Health Sciences.
This program has Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) available for eligible domestic students, where the Australian Government pays part of your fees and you pay the student contribution amount, which can be deferred via a HECS-HELP Loan. International students pay full tuition fees, which depend on study load and discipline and are payable each semester at least four weeks prior to commencement.
