You will graduate with a dual qualification in dental hygiene and dental therapy, making you eligible to register with the Dental Board of Australia and licensed to use diagnostic radiation.
You will complete clinical placements and gain practical experience including simulation practice and patient treatment in public dental clinics, private clinics, residential aged care facilities, and block rural placements.
The closing date for Semester 1 is 31 January of the commencing year. Note that this course has limited places available, and not all applicants who meet the deadline and requirements may be successful.
Applicants who receive an unconditional offer must confirm their place and enrol within ten calendar days of the date of the offer letter, or the offer will lapse.
Domestic students may be eligible for the NSW Health Tertiary Health Study Subsidy Program. Information on how to apply is available through the university's course page.
