You'll gain skills and practical experience by completing 1100 hours of work-based learning. CDU arranges all placements via partnerships with health and community organisations across regional, rural and remote NT locations. Students are responsible for the cost of attendance, including travel and accommodation, and CDU cannot guarantee placements near your residential location.
Students will be required to purchase clinical instruments in the first year of the course. The instruments will be used over the 3 years of the program and cost approximately $2,500. There will also be additional costs for clinical attire to meet industry work health and safety standards. Students are also responsible for the cost of meeting their pre-clinical requirements (e.g., immunisations, police checks, first aid certificate) and the cost of attendance at placements, including travel and accommodation.
No, this course is not available for Semester 2 commencement. Students can only commence in Semester 1.
The Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy is a highly competitive course with a limited number of places. This means that although you may meet the minimum entry requirements for the course, you may not be ranked high enough to receive an offer. Subquotas are in place for First Nations applicants, NT Residents, and applicants who have completed a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting or Certificate IV in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Work.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
