Students can choose from four majors: Performance Making, Performance Practice, Production and Design, and Production Management. The course structure requires students to complete two eight-unit majors as part of their degree.
For domestic students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $9,550 (Commonwealth supported place). For international students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $40,650.
Yes, students participate in various forms of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) including in productions and projects. Additionally, units in the course may involve working on and off campus outside of standard teaching hours, as the course has a non-standard timetable.
English language requirements (Band 3) can be satisfied through one of the following: Year 12 English ATAR/English Literature ATAR grade C or better or equivalent; Special Tertiary Admissions Test; IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0); successfully completed 1.0 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher in the UK, Ireland, USA, NZ or Canada; University Preparation Course; AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree; or successfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider.

Self-directed projects will develop confidence in working independently, and highly collaborative group work will develop the ability to work as part of a cohesive team. Graduates will also be able to apply broad discipline knowledge, use digital technologies, communicate with independence, adapt knowledge for diverse contexts, and demonstrate autonomy and accountability in performing arts and entertainment industry contexts.
