The course takes six years to complete. It is a vertically integrated coursework degree that includes the Pharmacy Board of Australia's intern training program and supervised practice requirements.
Yes, Honours is integrated into the fifth year of the course and consists of an independent research program supervised by a member of the academic staff.
Enrolment into the pharmacy program will require that you are registered as a student with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Graduates will be eligible to apply for general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia after successfully completing the examination and other requirements, qualifying them to practise as a pharmacist.
The closing date for Semester 1 applications is 31 January of the commencing year. This course has limited places available, and not all applicants who meet the application deadline and requirements may be successful.
