The course takes six years to complete. Over this time, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of how medicines are developed and how medications affect the human body, as well as gain advanced business management skills.
Yes, the course includes the Pharmacy Board of Australia's intern training program and supervised practice requirements as part of the vertically integrated coursework degree.
Enrolment into the pharmacy program will require that you are registered as a student with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
The closing date for Semester 1 intake is 31 January of the commencing year. Note that this course has limited places available and not all applicants who meet the application deadline and requirements may be successful. Separate deadlines also apply for scholarship applications.
Honours is integrated into the fifth year of the course and consists of an independent research program supervised by a member of the academic staff.
