The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) and Master of Pharmacy Practice is a five-year vertically integrated coursework degree that prepares graduates for professional practice as a pharmacist.
Yes, in addition to on-campus learning, students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in different practice settings through Work Integrated Learning placements.
Honours is integrated into the fourth year of the course and consists of an independent research program supervised by a member of the academic staff.
Graduates will be eligible to apply for general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia after successfully completing the examination and other requirements. Additionally, the course includes the Pharmacy Board of Australia's intern training program and supervised practice requirements.
The closing date for Semester 1 applications is 31 January of the commencing year. This course has limited places available, and not all applicants who meet the application deadline and requirements may be successful. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
