Common Questions
Yes. The Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) is accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Council. Graduates are eligible to register as physiotherapists with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (Ahpra), allowing them to work throughout Australia and New Zealand. Registration allows graduates to work across all states and territories in Australia, with mutual recognition also permitting registration in New Zealand.
You will complete approximately 1000 hours of clinical practice (practicum) commencing in Year 2 of the program. You will develop clinical assessment and intervention skills in laboratories, simulated learning environments, and through exposure to patients in physiotherapy practices, hospitals or community health settings in urban and rural locations.
For applicants with recent secondary education, an indicative ATAR/Selection Rank of 90 (including adjustment factors) or an International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 34 is required. It is also strongly preferred that school leavers have studied an ATAR course or equivalent in English and Mathematics, and at least one ATAR course in the sciences including Physics, Chemistry, Human Biology, and/or Physical Education studies.
This program has Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) available for eligible domestic students, where the Australian Government pays part of your fees as a subsidy that does not need to be repaid. Students pay the remaining student contribution amount, which can be deferred using a HECS-HELP Loan. International students pay full fees, with tuition costs depending on study load and discipline, payable each semester at least four weeks prior to commencement.
The program commences in Semester 1. Applications for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Semester 1 intake close on Wednesday 14 January 2026. Late submission of supporting documentation may impact eligibility, and places are limited so further offers are not guaranteed.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
