As a high achieving student you may apply for entry into the Honours program in year 3 of your Bachelor degree. You then begin advanced research training in the latter half of year 3. Clinical placements and an honours thesis are completed during the fourth year of the program.
Yes. The Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) has been accredited by the Podiatry Board of Australia, and students are eligible to register with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Note that an application to include endorsement for scheduled medicines as part of the program has been submitted to the Podiatry Accreditation Committee but has not yet been accredited.
The thesis presents research that addresses real podiatric problems and education across the lifespan. This research will be conducted under the supervision of experienced academic researchers.
Students must have achieved a GPA of 5.0 or greater after completing 200 credit points in the first 2.5 years of the Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine program. Students with a GPA in the range of 4.5-5.0 and a credit average in subjects completed in Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine levels 2 and 3 will also be considered, in accordance with the Honours Policy clause 13 and the Graduations Policy clause 53.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
