Yes, the Bachelor of Psychological Science and Counselling is accredited by both the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
This course includes 200 hours of experience in a professional placement, with 40 hours of face-to-face client counselling. This placement is linked with two clinical supervision units over two consecutive trimesters. The course also includes 140 hours of volunteering which is completed before placement in the final year.
The Bachelor of Psychological Science and Counselling is available at Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Online campuses. Please note that this course is not available to international students at Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, and Online campuses.
The course consists of 24 units at $2,833 per unit, with an Annual Course Fee (Indicative) of $22,664 per 1.0 EFTSL. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) is also applicable in addition to course fees.
