To be eligible for entry, you must hold an AQF level 7 bachelor degree that includes an APAC-approved three-year sequence in psychology completed in the past 10 years with a 5.5 GPA, or an APAC-approved bridging degree that includes foundational competencies completed in the past 10 years with a 5.5 GPA, or equivalent.
Yes, the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) [End-on] can be used as a pathway into the Master of Psychology (Clinical) or the Master of Professional Psychology at JCU.
The closing date for Trimester 1 applications is 31 October 2025, and the closing date for Trimester 2 applications is 1 May 2026.
The estimated annual Commonwealth Supported fee is AUD $9,537, and the estimated annual tuition fee (if Commonwealth Support does not apply) is AUD $33,133, plus the Student Services and Amenities fee. Fee deferral and scholarships are available if eligible.
During the honours year, you will study the methods and ethics of scientific investigations and evidence-based practice, access JCU's observation suites, and learn how to devise and implement an independent research project. You will also engage with and contribute to current research projects and listen to seminar discussions from national and international experts.
