Yes. This course puts you on track to becoming a registered psychologist. Graduates are eligible to gain entry into a fourth year of psychology, followed by a master program. If you choose to continue on to postgraduate studies, you'll also be able to take up professional training at VU's Psychology Clinic, providing discounted psychological services to the community.
Psychology students complete a fieldwork unit, which gives you the opportunity to gain experience in a field related to your studies. VU has a strong industry network and students have completed placements within the Department of Human Services (Child Protection), family and carer support services, arts and cultural organisations, refugee and asylum seeker support services, public and private health services, and school settings.
This course is offered as a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) for eligible students, with indicative fees for a full-time student in 2026 of approximately AU$17,399 per year. This fee is a guide only and does not include materials such as textbooks or the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). You may be able to get a HELP loan to pay for your studies, repaid through the tax system once you earn above the compulsory repayment threshold. VU also awards hundreds of scholarships each year worth millions of dollars combined.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
