Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging (Honours)

Domestic:

• Selection is ATAR-based (Clayton): 2026 lowest selection rank to which an offer was made was 98.15; lowest ATAR to which an offer was made in 2026 was 93.05; the Monash Guarantee threshold for 2026 entry is 93.
• Prerequisite subjects required: English, Mathematics, and Science (all three apply).
• Minimum age: applicants must be 18 years of age by 31 March of the first year of the course, to meet mandatory clinical placement requirements; underage applicants who cannot meet this are not eligible for an offer.
• Available Full Time only (no part-time option).

International:

• Same minimum age requirement: 18 years of age by 31 March of the first year of the course (clinical placement mandate).
• Prerequisite subjects required: English, Mathematics, and Science (all three apply).
• English language requirements (Level C - higher than the standard Level A required for most Monash courses): overall score 7.0 for IELTS (Academic), with minimum band scores: Listening 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5 and Speaking 6.5 (or equivalent approved English test scores).
• Study mode: Full Time only.

• Graduates become registered radiographers, facilitating patient diagnosis and management using X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI and other medical imaging techniques.
• Extensive clinical placements across rural, regional and metropolitan hospitals and private radiology practices provide direct pathways into the profession.
• May provide a pathway to further study via the Master of Advanced Health Care Practice, Master of Medical Ultrasound, or a graduate research degree.
