Accepted HSC science and mathematics subjects include Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Agriculture, Earth & Environmental Science, Mathematics Advanced (all requiring Band 5), and HSC Mathematics Extension 1 or Extension 2 (requiring E2). You need to have achieved the minimum band in at least two of these subjects.
In addition to the science/mathematics requirements, you need a minimum result in one English subject: English Standard, English as an Additional Language or Dialect, or English Advanced (Band 4 minimum), or HSC English Extension 1 or Extension 2 (E2 minimum).
You need to meet the minimum band requirements in at least two science or mathematics subjects from the specified list, plus at least one English subject from the approved list.
Yes, HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and HSC Mathematics Extension 2 are both accepted as qualifying subjects for academic entry, with a minimum result of E2 required in each.
