Common Questions
The Bachelor of Science at UC offers five specialist majors: Biomedical Science, Environmental Science, Biological Science, Human Movement, and Nutrition Science. Each major is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience relevant to careers in those fields.
Yes, the Bachelor of Science at UC is a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) supported course, which means the Australian Government has subsidised a portion of your degree, reducing the total balance you are required to pay. Some students may also be eligible to defer payment of their tuition fees via the Commonwealth Government's FEE-HELP and HECS-HELP schemes.
For entry into UC's Bachelor of Science, you will need a Year 12 ATAR of 60 or above, or another Australian qualification, work experience, or an overseas qualification. You will also need knowledge of Year 12 Biology/Human Biology, Year 12 Chemistry and Mathematical Methods or equivalent. Alternate pathway programs and admissions schemes are also available for those who did not achieve the required ATAR.
The Bachelor of Science includes five core units: Biological Concepts (11722), Contextual Physics with Mathematics (11725), Data Analysis Skills for Science (11723), Professional Orientation (Science) (11718), and Chemical Concepts (11724). These units form the backbone of your scientific education, giving you essential skills in analytical reasoning, experimental design and scientific thinking, and lay the groundwork for your specialised study in your chosen major.
The Bachelor of Science at UC has two intake dates: 16 February 2026 and 10 August 2026. The course is delivered on campus and takes 3 years to complete full-time.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
