About This Course

The Bachelor of Science at the University of Newcastle is an undergraduate degree in the Science and the Environment study area. It provides students with a broad foundation in scientific disciplines and is offered at the Newcastle Callaghan campus.

Requirements

Must meet the minimum selection rank (SR) for domestic recent school leavers
Direct Entry available for those not transitioning directly from high school
Guaranteed Entry available for applicants with a VET qualification at Cert IV level or higher, or completion of Open Foundation or Yapug enabling program, or completion of a Diploma at University of Newcastle
TAFE or VET Selection Rank pathway available for applicants with a TAFE or VET qualification at Cert III and above
International applicants must meet English language proficiency requirements (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL or PTE Academic undertaken within the last two years)
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants may be eligible for up to four adjustment points added to their selection rank
