Common Questions
All applicants, whether domestic or international, must provide evidence that their English language ability meets the minimum UNSW English Language Requirements. This can be demonstrated through approved English language tests (such as Pearson's), prior study in the medium of English, or other approved qualifications.
Applications are submitted via UNSW Apply Online. You must prepare all supporting documentation as outlined in the Document Submission Guidelines and ensure all mandatory documents are submitted with your application. Only full applications with all required documents will be taken to the next stage.
Yes, you can request a deferral for up to one year after the initial offer term. Deferrals are only approved where conditions are met, including continuing to meet UNSW entry requirements. If you have a conditional offer, you should email the relevant admissions team; if you have an unconditional offer, you can request deferral through the Accept Online portal.
Once your application is received into the student system, you will receive an email confirmation with a UNSW Student ID. You can then track your application through your UNSW Apply Online account, upload any missing documents, and monitor the status of each submitted document. Processing typically takes around a week, and longer during high-peak periods.
UNSW issues two types of offer letters: a Conditional Offer, where you have met some but not all requirements and must upload remaining documents via Apply Online, and an Unconditional Offer, where you have met all admission requirements. Your offer letter will outline how to accept the offer and any fees required before enrolment.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
