Bachelor of Science Advanced (Global Challenges)

Domestic:

• Selection is via Range of Criteria (Clayton), not pure ATAR rank: 2026 lowest ATAR to which an offer was made was 85.85; the Monash Guarantee threshold for 2026 entry is 80 (conditions apply).
• Prerequisite subjects required: English and Science/Other (Mathematics is not required).
• Available Full Time or Part Time (8 years part time).
• To remain in the course, students must maintain a distinction average (70%) across all units each calendar year, or be transferred to the Bachelor of Science (S2000).

International:

• Minimum age: at least 17 years of age at time of enrolment.
• Prerequisite subjects required: English and Science/Other (Mathematics is not required).
• English language requirements (Level C - higher than the standard Level A required for most Monash courses): overall score 7.0 for IELTS (Academic), with minimum band scores: Listening 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5 and Speaking 6.5 (or equivalent approved English test scores).
• Study mode: Full Time only (visa condition).

• Graduates have access to all traditional careers of science honours graduates, plus preparation for leadership roles that apply science to complex global challenges.
• Prepares graduates to be attractive to top management consultancies, businesses, government and other institutions.
• Includes a domestic or international internship and a year-long fourth-year project with an external organisation, providing direct professional experience before graduation.
