This combined degree requires the completion of one major or program from the Bachelor of Science (Psychology program only available through the B Science component of this degree), one major from the Bachelor of Arts, and a minor from the shared pool.
Yes, students have opportunities for the completion of internships or placements through FASS3000: Internship, which may be counted towards a major in an approved program and takes the form of a short-term internship with a partner organisation.
The closing date for Semester 1 is 31 January of the commencing year, and the closing date for Semester 2 is 15 July of the commencing year. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts will also have access to the Open Learning Environment, in addition to internship and placement opportunities through FASS3000.
The degree prepares students for employment in a wide range of areas, postgraduate research, and further specialist and professional education and research, through learning experiences built on the principles of inquiry, research and engagement.
