You will complete a minimum of 2310 hours of practical clinical experience as part of the Doctor of Medicine component of this double degree.
In the Doctor of Medicine, you will complete prescribed units within eight vertical themes: basic and clinical sciences, clinical skills, diagnostics and therapy, research, evidence and informatics, population health, indigenous health, ethics and law, and professionalism and interprofessional teamwork.
Each year, approximately 30 domestic and 10 international places can be offered, and this quota includes both the Bachelor of Arts/Doctor of Medicine and the Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine double degrees combined.
Eligible domestic applicants are invited to an in-person assessment day — either assessment day 1 (Fri 19 December 2025) or assessment day 2 (Mon 19 January 2026). Invitations are emailed to eligible applicants, and assessment dates and assessment modes are not negotiable. Eligible candidates must attend the first assessment day after the release of their ATAR (or other secondary education qualification) results.
