About This Course

Both science and law can be applied across a number of industries. From technology to environmental management, research, health and more. Choose from 10 diverse science majors and graduate with strong legal expertise that elevates your potential across a wide range of sectors.

Pursue a traditional career in the legal field, or make your mark across science, research, government, NGOs, business, and community organisations – there are opportunities in almost every sector. Students in this combined program are required to complete the core and directed courses from both programs. Specialise your studies by choosing an 80-unit major from the Bachelor of Science. Learn and develop skills by studying courses in various aspects of law including: For additional information about this degree you can refer to the pages for the corresponding single degrees: Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Combined Our students teamed up with CSIRO and Geosciences Sydney Uni on the voyage of a lifetime, investigating the causes of submarine landslides that lead to tsunamis. Students will participate in lab work and supervised legal practise to develop their analytical and communication skills. Depending on chosen majors, students will attend field trips, seminars and workshops. Career-ready placement opportunities are available. Examples include "Law on the Beach", volunteering with Oakvale Wildlife Park, the Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre, or working with our researchers on a deep-sea voyage.
