Yes. Yes. RMIT is running a pilot for the 2026 intakes that allows local (domestic) applicants to meet minimum English language requirements through approved English language proficiency tests. Accepted tests include IELTS (Academic), TOEFL iBT, Pearson Test of English (Academic), C1 Advanced, and C2 Proficiency. For undergraduate degrees, the required minimum is an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0), or equivalent scores in other accepted tests. Note that RMIT does not accept scores from 'at-home' or 'online' testing.
Yes. If you are applying to RMIT through the Schools Network Access Program (SNAP) or the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access Program, the English study score for admission is 5 points lower than the published study score for bachelor degrees. The minimum English study scores for entry may still be set higher than the general minimum, so it is advised to check the specific program page.
No. RMIT only accepts IELTS (Academic) or IELTS (Academic) One Skill Retake for admission into university programs. IELTS (General) is not accepted. Additionally, RMIT does not accept scores from 'at-home' or 'online' testing, and test results are only valid for 2 years from the test date.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
