You can take the Master of Physics in either Astronomy and Astrophysics, Computational Physics, Experimental Physics, Medical Physics, Theoretical Physics, or Quantum Technology and Computing.
In your first three years, you will complete the Bachelor of Science (Frontier Physics) and a semester of postgraduate study, including four units from the Master of Physics and research training. You will then complete your selected specialisation in the Master of Physics in the final year.
During the course you will have the opportunity to learn from members of specialist research groups working in Dark Matter Detection, Gravitational Wave Astronomy, Astrophysics and Cosmology, Quantum Information and Computing, Condensed Matter Physics, Biophysics, and one of the few research groups in the country working on theoretical physics beyond the Standard Model.
You will gain a thorough grounding in the fundamental theories and conceptual framework of contemporary and frontier physics, including advanced theories of General Relativity and Quantum Field Theory. You will also learn to identify research areas at the frontiers of physics, experimentally test concepts using state-of-the-art techniques, apply computational techniques to physical problems, and undertake and complete a substantial research project in physics.
You will graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Frontier Physics) and a Master of Physics in four years, or a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) for students enrolling in the BPhil pathway.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
