The BSc (Health Sciences) (Honours) program enables students to focus on one of the following areas of study: health promotion, food science, nutrition, health safety and environment, epidemiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, motor control and learning.
To be eligible, you need to have completed an Australian Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) and achieved a Course Weighted Average (CWA) of 65% or above in highest level units. Additionally, a project must be selected from the provided list, contact must be made with the project supervisor, and an Expression of Interest form must be submitted with your eApplication.
Students will complete a supervised research project and present their findings as an honours dissertation. They will also communicate about the research process through a proposal, dissertation, and oral presentation.
Applicants are required to choose between the following streams: Nursing Honours, Paramedicine Honours, and Public Health Honours. Prospective students should contact the Faculty of Health Sciences for more information about these streams.
