Admission into the honours program is competitive. You must have completed a 3-year full time equivalent bachelor degree with a minimum distinction (75%) weighted average mark (WAM) and have acceptance from a potential supervisor.
Yes. Applicants are required to complete a Project Proposal form prior to submitting their application and attach the completed form as a supporting document. For more information about this requirement, you can visit the Honours in SMAH page on the UOW website.
The course is offered in two sessions: Autumn 2026, starting 2 March 2026, and Spring 2026, starting 27 July 2026, both delivered on campus at Wollongong.
