Common Questions
Yes, both components are professionally accredited. The Bachelor of Science in Psychology is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS). The Bachelor of Laws is recognised by the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and the State of New South Wales, and through mutual recognition, UC's degree may serve as the basis for admission in all Australian jurisdictions.
To be admitted to legal practice, in addition to completing UC's Bachelor of Laws, students must complete a practical legal training (PLT) course (also referred to as the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice) and satisfy character requirements. The PLT course is conveniently offered by external providers in the ACT.
There are non-standard English language requirements for this course. To be eligible you must have an overall IELTS Academic score (or equivalent) of 6.5, with no band score below 6.0. Alternate/equivalent ways of meeting the English requirements can be found in the English Proficiency Requirements document on the university website.
Yes, for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in Psychology, students may require a Working with Vulnerable People card.
Students have the opportunity to fast-track their studies during winter term. Additionally, there are opportunities to travel while studying, to places such as the US, the UK, Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand, and to participate in international law internships.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
