Yes, a completed Bachelor degree is required as a prerequisite for entry into the Bachelor of Science (Psychology). This course is specifically designed for those who have already completed a degree in another field and wish to transition into psychology. If you do not have an existing degree but wish to pursue a career in psychology, CQUniversity's Bachelor of Psychological Science is recommended instead.
Yes. This course is designed for those with an existing bachelor's degree, and you'll receive credit for 12 elective units (72 units of credit) for your completed Bachelor's level study. The full course requires 24 units (144 credits), consisting of 12 core units and 12 elective units, meaning your prior degree effectively covers the elective component.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be eligible to apply for a competitive entry position in the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at CQUniversity. Honours level study will prepare you to continue onto the Master of Clinical Psychology or Master of Professional Psychology or research higher degree studies in psychology. If you would like to become registered as a psychologist, you will need to complete this further study.
The indicative first-year fee for 2026 is $24,840 (Indicative, Full Fee Paying). This course has Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) available, and as a domestic student you'll be offered a CSP provided you meet CSP eligibility requirements, meaning you pay only the student contribution rather than full tuition fees. You may also be eligible for a HECS-HELP government loan to defer part or all of your student contribution fees.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
