Yes, the Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Human Resource Management) is accredited by both the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). Graduates can also apply for professional membership of AHRI upon completion.
To become a registered psychologist after graduating from this course, you must complete an additional year of psychology study and two years of skills-based training. The course itself is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and provides the foundational psychology studies required.
You must meet Curtin's English language requirements. For IELTS Academic, the required scores are: Overall band score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6 in each of Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening. If you have completed a different English test or qualification, you may be able to use it to meet this requirement by checking Curtin's accepted English tests page.
The 2026 domestic indicative Commonwealth-supported first-year fee is $11,600. This is based on a first-year full-time study load of 200 credit points. Fees will vary depending on the units you choose and do not include other fees such as administrative and incidental fees or the cost of textbooks.
There are several alternative entry pathways available. You can apply with university or higher education study via the Curtin course switcher criteria or higher education course switcher criteria. You can also apply with work and life experience (STAT elements WE and either V or Q are considered), or with vocational education qualifications such as an AQF Certificate IV (with separate English proficiency evidence), AQF Diploma, or AQF Advanced Diploma. If you don't meet any of these pathways, bridging or enabling pathway options may also be available.
