This course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Graduates can apply for associate membership of the Australian Psychological Society. For full general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, you must complete a further two years of training, by completing either an accredited one-year master program and a one-year internship as a provisionally registered psychologist, followed by the National Psychology Exam, or an accredited two-year master program.

The 2026 domestic indicative Commonwealth-supported first-year fee is $13,500. This is based on a first-year full-time study load of 200 credit points and fees will vary depending on the units you choose. This indicative fee does not include other fees like administrative and incidental fees or the cost of textbooks. All Australian students studying an undergraduate degree are automatically awarded a Commonwealth supported place, which is subsidised by the Australian Government, and students can defer their contribution to a HECS-HELP loan.

You may be able to receive credit for recognised learning (CRL) from past study or professional experience, which could reduce the time it takes to finish your course. Specific details about CRL for this course can be found on the Handbook. Additionally, if your studies were affected by circumstances beyond your control, you may be eligible for special consideration when applying to Curtin.

There are multiple entry pathways available. If you have completed university or higher education, you can apply as a course switcher from Curtin or another higher education provider. If you have work and life experience, STAT elements (WE and either V or Q) are considered. If you have completed vocational education, accepted VET studies include an AQF Certificate IV (with separate evidence of English language proficiency), AQF Diploma, or AQF Advanced Diploma. If you don't meet any of these pathways, you may be able to enter through a bridging or enabling pathway.
