Yes. You can study two disciplines in equal depth and graduate with a double major by choosing a second major from the available list. Additionally, if you achieve a course-weighted average of 65 or higher in your course, you may apply to undertake a fourth-year honours program.
Prerequisites vary by major. For example, Chemistry and Biochemistry majors require Mathematics Applications and Chemistry; the Physics major requires Mathematics Methods and Physics; Data Science and Mathematics majors require Mathematics Methods; and Mining requires Mathematics Applications and either Chemistry or Physics. These prerequisites can also be met through specific Curtin units.
The course is available on campus at Curtin Perth and Curtin Singapore, with intakes available in Semester 1 and Semester 2 each year.
