The Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is designed for high achieving law students in the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Laws program who wish to undertake an extended level of study and research in Law, beyond the standard combined degree.
Yes. The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) program satisfies the academic degree requirements for admission to practice as an Australian lawyer. Graduates are eligible to apply to the Legal Profession Admission Board for admission to legal practice in NSW after undertaking prescribed practical legal training.
Students can choose from a range of majors including Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Applied Physics, Biology, and others. Students selecting Environmental Health are required to complete twelve major subjects, while most other majors require eight major subjects.
The Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is available at Parramatta South, Hawkesbury, and Campbelltown campuses.
Students must maintain a grade point average of 5 or above to remain in the program. Those who do not maintain this average will be transferred to the Bachelor of Science.
