Common Questions
Yes, at APAC you will be able to work on a diverse range of screen projects with students from the acting, song, and dance programmes. You will also have different footage to edit into a demo reel for potential employers to view.
It is not necessary for you to have any existing skills – although they may be helpful, they are not essential. It is your passion to create ideas and tell stories that we seek. The course starts at a beginner's level for all production aspects.
In the filmmaking course, you will be able to create dramas or comedies, music videos, interviews and podcasts. In your capstone project you will also work on 3 APAC films alongside industry crew.
The Bachelor of Screen and Stage is a 'practice-led' degree. While academic and theoretical components are central to the learning journey to inform and underpin the practical, skills-based classes, the focus is on developing performance and technical skills. This is underpinned by developing a broad understanding of the cultural and professional context around those performance skills.
Absolutely. APAC welcomes students from around the world. International applicants must have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band score below 5.5 (or equivalent), submit a portfolio, be 18 years or older at the time studies commence, and satisfy APAC's Genuine Student (GS) requirement. International applicants should also review visa requirements.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
