Yes, subject adjustment points are available. A study score of 25 in Art Creative Practice, Drama, Product Design and Technologies, Literature, Media, Creative and Digital Media (VCE VET) I, Art Making and Exhibiting, Theatre Studies or Visual Communication Design equals 4 aggregate points per study, with an overall maximum of 10 points. Note that subject adjustment points are applied to the aggregate, not the ATAR.
Yes, credit transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are both available. Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. RPL allows students to gain credit in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, students who have completed the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media - Animation can apply for a pathway into the Bachelor of Screen Production, with up to 12 units maximum credit available, equivalent to 1 year full-time of advanced standing.
International students must satisfy one of the following English language requirements: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or completion of Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 65% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined on the English language requirements page.
