Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. RPL allows students to gain credit in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, students who have completed the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media - Animation can apply for a pathway into the Bachelor of Screen Production, with up to 12 units maximum credit available, equivalent to 1 year full-time of advanced standing.

International students must satisfy one of the following English language requirements: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or completion of Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 65% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined on the English language requirements page.
