Yes, Work Integrated Learning is guaranteed in all Swinburne bachelor degrees. In this course, it is embedded in the units Screen Production Capstone: Project Development (FTV30017) and Screen Production Capstone: Production and Post Production (FTV30018), where students apply pre-production strategies for the development of a fully resolved screen-based media project. An optional professional work placement of 100 credit points is also available.
Successful completion of the Bachelor of Screen Production / Bachelor of Applied Innovation requires students to complete units of study to the value of 400 credit points. All units of study are valued at 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated, and the course includes 26 core units.
For 2026, the estimated yearly tuition fee for domestic Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) students is $17,399.00 AUD, with a total estimated course fee of $69,596.00 AUD. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of $373.00 AUD is also applicable. Fees are estimates only and subject to change.
A study score of 25 in Art Creative Practice, Drama, Product Design and Technologies, Literature, Media, Creative and Digital Media (VCE VET) I, Art Making and Exhibiting, Theatre Studies, or Visual Communication Design equals 4 aggregate points per study, with an overall maximum of 10 points. These subject adjustment points are applied to the aggregate, not the ATAR.
