Help people improve health, movement and performance with La Trobe's Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science.
In this degree, you will explore the science behind human movement, training and physical performance while building strong foundations in physiology, anatomy and biomechanics. You will learn how to apply scientific principles, techniques and data to support injury prevention, rehabilitation, strength development and athletic performance.
Gain real-world experience through 150 placement hours with organisations such as Carlton Football Club, Rugby Victoria and Bendigo Spirit. You'll also get access to industry-standard teaching, research and athlete performance facilities at the La Trobe Sports Park while studying in an elite sporting environment – the official home of the CommBank Matildas.
Tailor your degree to your interests and career goals with the flexibility to complete either a major, or a minor plus electives. If your plans change, you can choose to graduate early with the Diploma in Exercise and Health after your first year, or the Associate Degree in Exercise and Health after your second year.
