Yes, students must obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencement of the course. Additionally, students enrolled in this course may be required to apply for and receive an acceptable National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check prior to commencing placement with an NDIS provider. The relevant fee for the NDIS Worker Screening Check is the responsibility of the student.
Yes, there are several pathway courses available. These include the Diploma of Health Science (UniLink) — 8 months full-time with up to 5 units of credit; the Diploma of Sport — 1 year full-time with up to 4 units of credit; and the Diploma of Sport / Diploma of Leadership and Management — 1 year full-time with up to 4 units of credit. Credit available may vary depending on the major selected within the degree.
