Common Questions
The UTS Elite Athletes and Performers Entry Scheme recognises the impact that elite sport and performance can have on students' academic results. Eligible applicants receive 5 adjustments to their selection rank, which is then used to determine entry into UTS courses including this dual degree. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, have submitted a UAC application preferencing a UTS course, and apply separately via the UTS scheme (note that UTS does not participate in the UAC-assessed Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme).
No. UTS does not participate in the Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme assessed by UAC. Instead, UTS runs its own Elite Athletes and Performers Entry Scheme, through which eligible applicants must submit a direct application to UTS following their UAC application.
You will need to provide your UAC application number and details about your schooling and performance commitments, a completed Training/Rehearsal Schedule and Personal Statement, a Supporting Statement from your sporting or performance coach or manager (or equivalent on official letterhead), a Supporting Statement from a responsible person at your education institution such as a principal or careers advisor (or equivalent on official letterhead), and any other applicable supporting documents. Elite performers must additionally submit a portfolio of work or performance resume.
Applications for the 2027 intake open on 27 July and close on 30 November 2026.
If you are a commencing or current UTS student and an elite athlete or performer, UTS recommends applying for ActivateUTS's Elite Athlete Program or the Elite Performers Program, which are separate programs designed to support current students rather than the admissions entry scheme.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
