Further licensing in hydrographic surveying and mine surveying is also available.
The essential prerequisite subject is Mathematics Applications ATAR, and the desirable subject is Mathematics Methods ATAR. For Curtin course switchers, the Mathematics Applications ATAR requirement can also be met by completing one of the following Curtin units: MATH1013 Introductory Mathematics, MATH1014 Foundations of Calculus, or MATH1015 Linear Algebra.
The 2026 domestic indicative Commonwealth-supported first-year fee is $7,800, based on a first-year full-time study load of 200 credit points. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
