Requirements

Domestic high school leavers can apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) using their ATAR or International Baccalaureate (IB) results.
Non-school leavers (i.e. completed Year 12 more than ~6 months ago and/or completed a TAFE qualification or equivalent) can apply directly to UOW.
TAFE qualifications (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Diploma, or Level IV Certificate excluding trade certificates) may be used as a basis for entry.
Students with previous university studies may be eligible for entry if the course was at least one-sixth completed.
Students aged 21 or over without other qualifications may apply on the basis of the STAT Multiple Choice test.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students may apply through the Indigenous Admissions Program (IAP).
Veterans may apply through the Veterans Scholar Scheme using ADF service history as a selection rank.
The Limited ATAR is accepted for admission; applicants must be at least 20 years old on 1 March in the year they complete their HSC and must complete between 5 and 9 units of ATAR courses.
