The total course fee is $60,000 AUD, with an admin fee of $500 AUD and an up-front fee of $24,500 AUD.
The course includes a Capstone unit in the second semester of Year 3, being the last semester of this course. In this unit, students will complete a Capstone project which is partnered with automotive industry experts and stakeholders. The project focuses on one specialised automotive area and is associated with different aspects of the automotive sector specifically electric vehicles, including research and development, testing and experimental works, design, literature surveys and simulation and computation studies.
Nova Anglia College accepts the following English language proficiency results: IELTS overall band score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5; PTE Academic score of at least 50 for each of the 4 components; TOEFL iBT at least 12 for listening, 13 for reading, 21 for writing and 18 for speaking; Occupational English Test (OET) at least B for each of the 4 components; or Cambridge C1 Advanced test at least 169 in each of the 4 components.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Technology (Electric Vehicle) can pursue careers as an Automotive Technologist, Service Advisor (OEM), Automotive Electrical Systems Technologist, Electric Vehicle Technologist, Diagnostic Expert, or Industrial Technologist. Graduates can also undertake further studies such as a Master of Automotive Engineering, Master of Science degrees, or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Yes, the course includes an Internship / Work Placement unit (BEV225) in Year 2, Semester 2, worth 12 credit points, providing students with practical industry experience as part of their studies.
