Yes. For entry to a bachelor degree at RMIT, you can meet English language requirements through the satisfactory completion of 2 undergraduate level courses equivalent to at least 24 RMIT University credit points, or through satisfactory completion of an AQF accredited award at certificate IV or above (or equivalent).
Yes. RMIT is running a 2026 pilot that allows domestic applicants to meet minimum English language requirements through approved English language proficiency tests. Accepted tests include IELTS (Academic), TOEFL iBT, Pearson Test of English (Academic), C1 Advanced, and C2 Proficiency. For undergraduate entry, the minimum required scores are IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT overall 79, PTE (Academic) 58, or C1/C2 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
No. RMIT does not accept IELTS (General) for admission into RMIT university programs. Only IELTS (Academic) or IELTS (Academic) One Skill Retake are accepted. Additionally, RMIT does not accept scores from 'at-home' or 'online' testing.
RMIT UniReady is an enabling course that prepares students to gain the skills they need to get into university. Satisfactory completion of RMIT UniReady can satisfy post-secondary study English language requirements for entry into associate degrees, and it may support pathways into undergraduate programs. The minimum English requirement for UniReady entry via VCE is a study score of at least 20 in EAL or at least 15 in English, Literature or English Language.
