After your first year, you can choose from the following specialisations: 2D Concept Art & Illustration; 2D Animation & Storyboarding; 3D Modelling & Digital Sculpting; 3D Animation for Games & Film; CGI, VFX & Post-Production; and Digital Media Production.
Flinders and CDW Studios combine forces to offer this hands-on degree. You'll be taught by instructors who have unparalleled experience in VFX, and receive input from professionals who have worked across major film and game projects like The Avengers, World of Warcraft, Disney and The Lego Movie.
The campus is home to a multipurpose production stage known as The Void, where you can transform your ideas into digital reality. Students also have the opportunity to attend masterclasses and learn directly from leading international experts throughout their studies.
Entry requirements include a Guaranteed Entry ATAR of 65.00, a STAT score of 150.0, a GPA of 4.0, or a TAFE/VET Certificate IV or above. Pathway options include Film and Television (Screen Industries), Arts, and Diploma in Arts. Prerequisites include a portfolio and written statement, and there is no assumed knowledge required. International students need an IELTS overall score of 6.0 (with Speaking and Writing at 6.0) or a Pearson overall score of 50.
