Common Questions
The Foundation Program is designed for international students only who have completed the equivalent of Australian Year 11 and meet the English language requirements to prepare them for undergraduate study at Bond University. Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, and holders of an Australian permanent visa are not eligible and should see Bond's Diploma Preparation Program instead.
Depending on your final Foundation Program results, you'll have the option of enrolling directly into a Bond bachelor's degree or continuing on at Bond University College to study a diploma in your chosen study area followed by your bachelor's degree at the third semester mark.
The Foundation Program comprises eight subjects completed over two semesters. In Semester 1, you'll study Foundation Maths, English, and discipline-based subjects in the field of Arts and Technology. In Semester 2, you'll focus on Modern History and Communication and Culture, alongside a second unit of English and Maths.
Students benefit from extra face-to-face teaching sessions in small classes where teachers know you by name. Additional student support is available with access to the University's counselling services, medical clinic, and international student services team. If you are struggling to keep up in class, extra workshops or tutoring sessions are available, and the Student Affairs and Service Quality team can help with enrolling in your Bond University program.
As a condition of your Australian Student Visa, you will need to study full time and maintain an 80 per cent attendance average throughout the program.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
