Builds vocabulary and grammar in use, key skills for identifying information in academic listening texts, and speaking tasks to apply language in context.
Reading and Writing
Develops reading of academic texts to identify key ideas, grammar and vocabulary for writing, and critical thinking skills, with teacher feedback on writing.
BE Advantage
Finishes 5-6 weeks before the UQ semester starts; includes access to the BE Extension course if the first assessment attempt is unsuccessful.
BE Standard
Finishes immediately before the UQ semester starts; no BE Extension option available.
BE Extension
4-week course to improve language skills and repeat the BE assessment, available only with the BE Advantage option.
