About This Course

Business English at Impact English College is designed for students who want to operate successfully in the international business community, whether for career purposes or to prepare for further business-related study at university or college level. The course is delivered exclusively at Impact's Melbourne campus for students at Upper Intermediate level.

Classes incorporate practice aligned with both the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) and the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), giving students exposure to internationally recognised business English assessment formats. Students learn from qualified, experienced Business English teachers and study alongside classmates who share similar career goals.

The course builds practical workplace communication skills through activities such as team projects, meetings, interviews and presentations, along with training in reading business documents and writing in formal English — including business plans and proposals. Minimum enrolment is 5 weeks, level completion takes approximately 10 weeks, and new intakes begin every Monday.
